On Saturday 29th April 2006 The Joshua Foundation
held its first Strictly Cymru Dancing event
in partnership with Meridian Business Support.
Olympic athlete Jamie
Baulch was joined by Real Radio stars Angela
Jay and Ian Brannan to go head to head to win
the first ever strictly Cymru Dancing trophy.
The event, held at the National Museum Wales was a great success with almost £8000 being
raised for children with terminal cancer. The evening included dinner, dancing, and a
charity auction with prizes such as the chance to win dinner with Jamie Baulch and an
hour on the Real Radio Breakfast show with Ian and Angela!

The three celebrities had been taught by Jade
Dance school in Cardiff and their teachers,
Veronica, Jeanette and Dave were their partners
on the evening. After only 20 hours of dance
tuition, all three couples looked fantastic!!

The dancing was won by Real Radio's Angela Jay
who beat off tough competition from the ladies
favourite Jamie Baulch! Our thanks go to the
many people who supported the event.
