We are pleased to report
that the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society (PM
Society) has adopted the Joshua Foundation as
its charity for two years starting from January
2007.
The PM Society is a not-for-profit making
organisation run by a volunteer committee for
the benefit of its 1200 members who work in
marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
The Society, founded in 1976, organises meetings
and events which provide information, education,
training and networking opportunities for both
pharmaceutical marketing and service company
personnel.
The Society’s flagship event is the annual
Pharmaceutical Marketing Advertising awards
held in January each year and attended by around
1,300 guests. A prize draw is held at the awards
ceremony and all money raised in 2007 and 2008
will be donated to the Joshua Foundation.
PM Society Chairman, Sandy Thomson, said:”It
is a real pleasure to be involved with such
a worthwhile and compassionate charity and to
know that every penny raised will be wisely
spent on enriching the lives of these brave
children and their families”.
