Lapland Club - the new regular giving programme

What is the Lapland Club and why should you join:

TJF have established a new ‘regular giving’ programme called The Lapland Club (TLC), by becoming a regular supporter of TJF via TLC you will enable the charity to plan more effectively for the long term and provide reliable income for the charity’s work.

Throughout the year TJF rely on people to support the vital services, providing holidays and experiences for children, including the upkeep and maintenance of the holiday homes in the UK. By joining TLC, you will ensure that TJF can continue to make life a real experience for all our children and their families for a long time to come.

In particular TLC will generate funds for the annual Lapland trips. In December every year a group of youngsters, their siblings and families, from across the UK make the magical trip of a lifetime to Lapland for what is truly a thrilling experience. Arranged in conjunction with Transun Holidays it is always a day to remember and remains TJF’s flagship group experience.

The Lapland Club and its Members:

Anyone can join TLC, in return for a commitment to make a regular gift to the charity. Many of the first members are already supporters of the charity, but it is also an excellent way for new friends to come on board.

There are a range of different options for regular giving:

  • The Reindeer Programme: For a regular donation of £7.50 per month (£22.50 per quarter, £45 bi annual, £90 annual), you can make a real impact on our work with children with terminal cancer. In return we will send you a bi-annual update of our work and programmes and a special Lapland Club sticker for your car.
  • The Snowflake Programme: If you are unable to join the Reindeer programme at £7.50 per month, or if you are unable to make a monthly contribution, this programme allows you to make a quarterly or annual contribution to our work. In return you will receive an annual update of our work and programmes. (The minimum monthly gift able to be made is £5.00 per month - anything less than this will of course be accepted, but it will need to be amalgamated into quarterly, bi annual or annual gifts.
  • The Christingle Programme: For a regular donation for £10 or more per month, you will join the Christingle programme which will directly provide spending money for our annual Lapland Trips. In return you will receive a quarterly newsletter, a Lapland Club car sticker and special invites to our timetable of events.
  • The Santa Programme: For those who can make a regular donation of £25 or more per month, you will join the Santa programme. These funds will go directly to our annual Lapland trips and in return you will receive a quarterly newsletter, regular update e-mails and a Lapland Club car sticker. In addition you will receive special invites to our events and even the opportunity for some lucky members to escort our Lapland trips.

The Lapland Club is your opportunity to make a real difference to our work and the difference is more than just the donation itself. If a Lapland Club member is a taxpayer the charity can claim Gift Aid on the donation increasing the value of the gift.

The aim of this telephone campaign is to increase the financial support The Joshua Foundation receives by recruiting new givers to the charity. We will be contacting previous one off donors, those who have undertaken or participated in sponsored or particular Foundation events - such as the 'Oz Experience', to thank them for their valuable support and to ask them to support The Joshua Foundation with a regular gift by Direct Debit.
