On Monday 8th May 2006, The Joshua Foundation marked what would have been Joshua's 15th Birthday by travelling down to Fishguard in West Wales to undertake a cheque presentation from Stena Line Ferries and Princess Gate Spring water.

Back in June 2005 Stena Line Ferries in Fishguard adopted The Joshua Foundation and began raising money for us through numerous fundraising events such as sponsored car washes, quiz nights and also by putting our collection tins on all of their ferry crossings from Fishguard to Rosslaire.

Additionally, Ian Jamieson of Stena recommended us to a contact he had at Princess Gate Spring Water Company who also went on to raise money for the charity through a dinner which was held on 31st March 2006.

Therefore on 8th May some of the staff from the charity met with Ian Jamieson and some of his colleagues from Stena and Princess Gate at our apartments in Fishguard to receive the cheques from them. It was a great opportunity for our friends from Stena and Princess Gate to see the apartments we have available to all our families.

It was a great day for all involved with an accumulated donation of £8,800 from the two parties. The Joshua Foundation would like to thank both Stena line and Princess Gate Spring Water for their support and look forward to a continued relationship in the future.
