The Welsh Bafta Awards

Lucky youngsters from across South Wales are treated to a red carpet evening at The Welsh Bafta Awards at The Millennium Centre, Cardiff.

On Sunday, 23rd May four youngsters and their guests from the teenage cancer unit at The Heath Hospital were picked up in style in chauffeur driven limousines and whisked off to the black tie, red carpet event that is the Welsh Baftas.

Looking absolutely gorgeous all the youngsters posed like celebrities outside the Millennium Centre to have their photograph taken as a memento of the evening. They were treated to a VIP champagne drinks reception sponsored by tattinger and were taken to their seats for the actual awards ceremony surrounded by nominees and celebrities.

After the awards the youngsters were fortunate enough to meet Bryn Terfyl, Rob Brydon and Lucy Jones and Lloyd Daniels from The X-Factor. To round off the evening all eight youngsters were treated to dinner in Cosmo’s, Cardiff Bay which is an all you can eat Chinese buffet style restaurant where they had a great time before the limousines returned to pick them up and take them all home.
