Back in March 2009, The Joshua Foundation were approached by Admiral Insurance, Cardiff, with a view to Admiral raising money for the charity during 2009/2010.

Admiral were planning to raise funds for the charity by donating the commission from their Perfume and book stall sales, which came into their staff canteens in both their Swansea and Cardiff offices once every quarter. These stalls had proved very popular with staff at Admiral in the past.

They also planned to do some additional fundraising within their facilities departments, thanks to the assistance from Steph Scott and Julia Prize! These activities included a quiz and several cake sales.

On 17th March 2010 Alison Stallard attended a cheque presentation at Admiral insurance Cardiff and was delighted to receive a cheque for £2,381.45!!

Admiral has also confirmed that they will continue to raise funds for the charity throughout 2010 and have invited staff from the charity into their ‘Awareness week’, which takes place in June.

The Joshua foundation would like to thank all the staff at both the Swansea and Cardiff offices for showing their support of the charity and look forward to working with them over the forthcoming year.
