The Joshua Foundation has been adopted by the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society (PMS) for two years , so Friday 25th January 2008 saw another trip to The Grosvenor Hotel London for The Joshua Foundation Team, to carry out a collection at the PMS Annual Awards Dinner.
Sarah Cornelius our Chief Executive once again delivered a powerful message to the audience about the work of the Joshua Foundation, appealing to the generous side of the audience.
Once again the audience dug deep into their pockets, and on the day approximately £12,500 was collected – this year we offered the audience the opportunity to allow us to claim Gift Aid on their donations - once the Gift Aid has been calculated, we are hoping to beat last year’s total of £14,000.
This was a spectacular event with over 1300 guests, who’s generosity was overwhelming for a second year running.
The Trustees of The Joshua foundation would once again like to extend a big thank you to everyone at the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society, in continuing to support our work with children with terminal cancer.
