It’s official!
The Joshua Foundation is the adopted Charity of the Miss. Wales competition for the second year running.
It is our pleasure to work in partnership with Vibe Models again, as last year’s
competition raised over £52,000 for our work for children with terminal cancer and their families.
"We are so excited about the Miss. Wales 2008 competition and hope that it continues to develop
and grow bigger than ever before, let’s hope that the 2008 finalists prove once again that beauty
really does have a purpose..." said Hannah of The Joshua Foundation.
The Miss. Wales Charity Ball is to be held at the Holland House Hotel on Friday 18th July and the final will be
held at the CIA on Saturday 19th July.
The Joshua Foundation would like to wish all of the entrants the very best of luck in their
quest to become Miss. Wales 2008.

Miss. Wales 2007, Kelly Pesticcio, has been working closely with The Joshua Foundation and is set
to embark on a whirlwind of activities with us throughout her reign:
- On 30th October she will be attending our Halloween Party at Caerphilly Castle.
She will be travelling to Lapland in the Arctic Circle with us on Friday 14th December to help
us find Santa (along with some other lucky Miss. Wales 2007 finalists).
- Miss. Pesticcio has been invited to one of our new events in Nottingham and Cardiff -
Breakfast with Santa, these are taking place on Sunday 9th and Sunday 16th December.
- Kelly will also get the prestigious task of drawing our Grand Christmas Raffle on Friday 21st December at noon.
(see our website a few days after the draw for the winners).
- In the New Year and beyond, Kelly will hopefully be attending some of our ‘Lite the Nite’
fundraising events in Cardiff and Swansea and will also, in the summer of 2008, be travelling to
Australia with us on our fantastic ‘Oz Experience’ trip.
What a way to finish off her year as Miss. Wales
