The first Swansea Lite the Nite, sponsored by the Swansea Evening Post took place on Friday 30th March 2007. The fabulous "Junction" café at Blackpil Lido was the starting point, where crowds gathered to enjoy hot beverages, face painting and entertainment from Mr Marvo. Blinkies joined us to sell illuminated toys and helped us to raise more money on the night. Swansea Wave FM came along in the form of ex Oz Experience team member Emma Timothy.

The walk started at approximately 7.45p.m after a photo call from the Swansea Evening Post. The 200 plus walkers literally lit up the Swansea night as they made their way along the Swansea Promenade.
