The projects
- To fund the work of a play worker to provide activities and play on
the wards in V. Gomoiu Hospital, Bucharest - the only paediatric oncology
department in Bucharest without any play support.
- To fund the work of play workers to run the playroom for children with
Leukaemia in The Mother and Child Hospital in UlaanBaatar.
- To fund excursions for the children in Romania. This will range from short
day-trips (for example to the circus, theatre and park) to longer vacations
into the countryside.
- To fund excursions for the children in Mongolia. This will comprise day
trips to, for example, the circus, theatre and park.
- As the need arises, there will be further ‘one-off’ projects to
help these children live life to the full.
