"Hair cut 100"- The aim of this event is to get 100 hairdressers in Cardiff to adopt the foundation for one day and raise £100 each salon by working as a team to create a fun day for the customers and staff whilst raising much needed funds.

Cardiff's first annual hairdressing event which took place on 20.6.09 amongst salons within Cardiff and surrounding areas was a Hugh success and raised much needed funds for the foundation. Hairdressers locally really went the extra mile and threw themselves into fundraising by dressing up, raffling off hair cuts, selling cakes, to mention but a few ideas, please see our photo gallery to view some of the salons in action ( please get your photos in guys as I have only had a few!!!).

Salons involved had publicity in local newspapers, local radio and were recommended to customers who phoned into the offices to support the event.

A big thank you to all involved. The event will be moving out to invite Newport and Swansea based salons to take part in August and September.
