The Easter bunny was a special guest at our event at The Hard Rock Café, Cardiff on Sunday, 5th April. 40 children and their families enjoyed a full Welsh breakfast, an Easter bonnet competition, egg painting, face painting, and gifts from the Easter Bunny. The appearance of the Star Wars storm troopers caused a huge amount of excitement amongst the children and their dads! They even received an egg from the Easter Bunny.

More than 150 eggs for the children were collected by the employment agency Randstad from their clients, the eggs not used at the party were taken down to the wards at The Children’s Hospital of Wales to be distributed amongst the youngsters too poorly to attend the party.

The Easter Bonnet parade was added as a new competition this year and a great big thank you goes out to all the "Blue Peter" parents for such a huge effort in making the hats look so colourful. Small eggs were awarded to everybody that took part and prizes were then given to the three best entries.

Huge thanks to all involved at Randstad and their clients who donated the eggs, staff at Hard Rock Cafe and obviously to all our special families for attending the breakfast and making it such a successful event once again.
