30 glamorous and enthusiastic Miss Wales’s finalists turned up at Tiger Tiger on Saturday 19th April,
to take part in The Joshua Foundation’s Apprentice style challenge event.
The idea behind the event is that the Miss Wales Finalists could use the day
to gain sponsorship towards their ongoing fundraising for the charity. And also make lots of new
friends and basically have a fun day!
The girls were sent off around Cardiff (despite the rain)! To answer questions about the city and
to complete some wild and wacky challenges.
As part of the challenge the girls also had to visit the Dress Stop shop (www.Dress-stop.com), which is
the official sponsor of the Miss Wales competition. One member of each team had to put on one of the
amazing dresses at the shop and get their photo taken with the rest of the team there!
The girls all had to get back to the charities café, Comfortably Numb by 5:30, to get their answers
marked. Fortunately there was no Sir Allen Sugar to fire any of the teams, but there could only be one
winning team. Which were ‘Joshua’s Angel’s’
Kylie Hearne, Victoria Davies, Danielle Bahgat, Abi Tee and Sioned Richards made up the winning team!
All of the teams did fantastically well on their travels around Cardiff and also managed
to obtain some great gifts and vouchers for the charity to use in a raffle.
