Tom Dimond and Lloyd Evans at Castle Coombe Racing Circuit
Tom Diamond
Sunday 1st August marked 12 years since Joshua Cornelius asked his mother to organise for other children to enjoy the same experiences as he had enjoyed during his treatment. It was also the day that Tom Dimond enjoyed attending the Diamond Anniversary meeting celebrating 60 years of racing at Castle Coombe Circuit. Since July 1950, F1 Grand Prix winners, World Champions and all kinds of celebrities have raced there and it was Tom and his families turn to enjoy a VIP visit. A great day was had by all and a special thank you to Ian Danaher for being their guide and for organising the day!
Lloyd Evans
Lloyd Evans also enjoyed a day at Castle Coombe. He had a fantastic day seeing all the cars and meeting some of the drivers. He enjoyed watching the races very much. He was also very pleased to go round the circuit in the safety car that lead the procession of vintage cars.
Please pass on a very big thank you to Ian Danaher and his son who made the day extra special.
Finally a big thanks to you guys at The Joshua Foundation for arranging the day and the great work that you do.
