"As a family we were all determined to have a holiday together, following Jacobs 3rd operation to remove his brain tumour, The Joshua Foundation was able to offer us the use of both the luxury apartments. Jacobs whole family was able to go including grandparents, mam, dad, 3 brothers, aunty and cousins. We all had a wonderful time in such a relaxing environment and spent some real quality time together - thanks again.".

"What a beautiful apartment, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and furnished - we had a very peaceful stay. It was such a nice break, especially for Sophie who has missed out on so much during her treatment and long stays in hospital. The trip over to Ireland was superb, the weather was beautiful - we had a wonderful day. We are very grateful for our time spent here and really hope we will be able to return in the future. The visit has also done wonders for my sanity (what little I have left anyway!)".

Thomson Family - August 2007

"During August we had a lovely week at your apartment in Fishguard. We had great fun trying to catch crabs in the harbour. We also enjoyed visiting the many lovely beaches and coves nearby and the girls tried body boarding. We had a great day using the complimentary tickets to Oakwood Park, the girls loved the helicopter ride and the rollercoaster in the woods. We had a wonderful holiday and the apartment was as lovely as ever. Thank you very much for letting us have the opportunity to visit again.".

"It was lovely to hear the gasps of pleasure and excitement as our 3 children entered the Fishguard flat for the first time, special gasps were made for the tv/dvd screen, legotable, large cuddly animals and large bath. We had a lovely time enjoying the flat and the local area where the children loved crab fishing at the harbour and rock pooling in the nearby coves. Folly farm was a firm favourite so thank you all very much at The Joshua Foundation for allowing us this rewarding break.".

"We have just come back from our second visit to the luxury apartment at Fishguard and had a lovely rest and a break. The weather was cold but the apartment was so lovely and warm. You only need to take yourself and clothes as everything is so kindly provided. We look forward to going again in the future.".

"We had a busy exciting week with extended family thanks to the size of the apartment. We went to St. David’s and Saundersfoot beaches, watched a sheepdog show, visited a dinosaur park and Oakwood theme park. We also went on a speedboat and saw a dolhin close by. The loan of the apartment meant we could spend more money on William who has had a really tough year. He had the best holiday and we thank you so much."

"We recently had the wonderful opportunity to spend a week at the Fishguard Flat - a lot of thought has gone into making this flat as welcoming and comfortable as possible. The Children love the bedroom with the lego table, not to mention the super luxury bath! The tranquillity and beauty of the area are soothing and the crab fishing at the nearby harbour is great. This was an experience that without the help of the charity we would not have been able to afford on our own. We had some special time to enjoy each others company - thank you so much.".

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful flat in Fishguard at a time when we most needed a break and rest. The view over Fishguard was fabulous and the children loved crabbing at every opportunity. We visited Oakwood Theme Park and all went on Megafobia - very scary! We also visited Pembroke Castle and watched demonstrations of archery, knights and fighting. We all had a great time in a beautiful part of Wales - thank you.".
