It was a cold and crisp but beautiful morning as children and their families arrived for Breakfast with Santa at Colwick Hall, Nottingham.
They were greeted by members of the UK Garrison costume group, who once again volunteered their services as Star Wars characters, a pirate and even Batman!
As families took their seats, Christmas songs were playing, and straight away the fun began with party games, face painting, Christmas card and cracker making and colouring in and quizzes galore, once again provided by Opaz Entertainment.
A full cooked breakfast was then served up to everyone and was enjoyed by all.
Once everyone’s tummies were full, the main man himself Father Christmas paid a visit to all the children. They queued up to receive a present from Father Christmas and to tell him what they would like for Christmas.
It was then time for the fun and games to continue, including doing the limbo, pass the parcel, dancing, and lots more, with prizes being given to the winners.
Over 80 people came to join in the fun and games and to meet Father Christmas, sadly several children along with their families, were unable to make it last minute as they weren’t well enough, so gifts were sent to the children and their siblings.
Everyone at The Joshua Foundation would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported the event through donations and helping out.
Wishing you Happy Holidays
